Neck pain causes

Neck pain is becoming increasingly common due to the demands of everyday life. Sometimes the cause is a car accident (even a minor one), contact during sport, or even having the wrong pillow. More often though, it’s the constant load our neck and shoulders because of forward head posture. Do you find yourself doing any of the things below, during the course of the day?

Forward Head Posture results from

  • Sitting at work
  • Sitting at school
  • Mobile phones or iPads
  • Gaming on console or PC
  • Sitting during your daily commute
  • Making meals over the stove and counter
  • Breast feeding
  • Caring for our young ones (we are always looking down)

These positions place significant pressure on our neck which should not be sustained for extended periods.
